While Jackson Hole is presumably best known for the magnificence and ruggedness of the Teton Range, the Jackson Elk Herd certainly ranks among the top features of the valley.
With the sleigh ride, we were able to get up close and personal with the elk. There were literally thousands of elk to be seen, and the white landscape was shining bright with their golden skin. Humans don’t seem to bother them. On the contrary, they’re happy to turn their heads our way, as though offering up their best angle to the camera.
